Troubleshooting

Most problems come down to the layer order, a half-pasted link or the rink's internet. Start at the top.

The scoreboard doesn't show up

It's under the camera. In your streaming app's source or layer list, the scoreboard must be above the camera. Drag it up.
It's switched off. Check the eye icon or the layer's on switch.
The link is incomplete. Copy it again from your scoreboard home and paste it fresh. It should end in /o/ and a short code.
The app can't do overlays. The YouTube, Facebook and GameChanger apps can't show one. See other apps.

The score doesn't change on the stream

Check the controls and the stream belong to the same scoreboard. Your scoreboard home shows Waiting for your stream app until the overlay has loaded somewhere, and changes once it has.
Check the phone running the controls is online. Turn Wi-Fi off and on, or switch to cellular.
Reload the scoreboard in your streaming app. In OBS and Streamlabs Desktop, open the source's properties and use Refresh cache of current page. In a phone app, remove the layer and add it again.

Updates usually show within a second. If the stream itself runs a few seconds behind, that's the streaming platform's delay, not the scoreboard.

It's the wrong size, cut off or blurry

Set the browser source to 1920 × 1080, then make it fill the whole picture (in OBS: right-click, Transform, Fit to screen).
On a phone app, stretch the layer to cover the whole screen and stream in landscape.
Blurry text usually means a low output resolution. Stream at 720p or higher.

The stream is choppy or keeps dropping

The video needs far more internet than the scoreboard does. Tap Check my connection on your scoreboard home from the streaming phone to see what quality the rink's internet can carry. Then:

Get closer to the Wi-Fi, or switch to cellular if the rink Wi-Fi is busy.
Lower the stream quality in your streaming app to what the check suggests, or to 720p.
Plug the streaming phone into a battery pack. Phones slow themselves down when the battery is low or they get hot.

The goal graphic didn't play

Check the graphics level under Change the look on your scoreboard home.
In the look editor, Favourite teams only plays the goal celebration only for teams you've marked as favourites. Turn it off to celebrate every goal.
